Twelve months of hospital experience in medical/surgical or a related field ending within the past two years is preferred. Nurse Externs with hospital experience will also be considered. The staff may commit to work straight evenings, straight nights, evening/nights, otherwise would have to schedule at least 50% day/evening or 50% day/night. Staff will normally be designated to working the areas of: Medical, Surgical and Telemetry. The individual is required to be available to work six shifts during a six-week period. Although six shifts are required more shifts may be submitted for consideration. A specific number of shifts to work are not guaranteed. If the person is not needed on the schedule, the individual will be called off approximately two hours prior to beginning of shift.
